Coaching

John Whitmore, in his seminal book, Coaching for Performance, defined coaching as:

“unlocking people’s potential to maximise their own performance… helping them to learn rather than teaching them.”

Whether it’s career, leadership or more general coaching, Timothy works with coachees on their future possibilities, rather than their past mistakes, helping them to understand their unique skills and find their motivation.

Timothy works with individual’s looking for career or more general coaching and clients who want to develop individuals in their team.
Through skilled questioning, coaching will help coachees see their situation from a different perspective, gain clarity, uncover options, challenge inconsistencies and limiting beliefs, and then deliver action. It is an empowering process that helps coachees make the situational changes to achieve greater career or personal fulfilment.
I recently received this feedback from a coachee I have been working with which, to me, highlights just how powerful and simply effective the coaching process can be : "Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to listen to and guide my ill-organised ramblings during our meetings. I feel like I left our sessions with a far clearer picture of what being a new manager and a new family man is to me. Without seismic change, you helped me figure out a far better balance, without much compromise needed on either side."
