Tim Mitchell is a coach, HR and executive search consultant working with clients in the creative & broadcast media industries.

Tim Mitchell is a talent/executive search strategist & recruiter, CIPD trained HR generalist and trained coach (MSc Career Coaching/Coaching Psychology). For over 20 years he has helped creative businesses find, develop and support their people; and he has helped people in career transition find their agency to take on roles that truly connect to their values.

 

The integrated creative advertising, design and broadcast industries are the cornerstones of his 20+ career. He has worked in London and New York, mentored for the Creative Mentor Network, a charity on a mission to make the creative industries more inclusive, and he is a volunteer listener for the Samaritans.

 

He spent his early career working in account management in agency & client-side creative businesses, and he brings this insight & experience to his clients and work. He has a reputation for working collaboratively, with empathy, care & integrity.

 

In his work Tim challenges recruitment and HR conventions and aims to deliver business success by helping clients align their people & business strategy. He aims to help those he coaches experience more personal agency and more fulfilled careers and lives.

Why?

A recent study by Leadership IQ found that 46% of newly-hired senior employees fail within 18 months. To counter the obvious financial and emotional costs this brings, Tim has developed an end-to-end combined, strategic executive search and on-boarding/coaching process which identifies, hires & then works with the candidate and the client through probation & on-boarding in one aligned, invested process, helping create success over the long term.
